About us
We are Nadia & Maarten. We’re a Belgian couple and we’ve been travelling to Southern Africa for over a decade now. Most of our trips have been overlanding Tours in Namibia, Botswana, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Mozambique and South-Africa. Why Africa: “we honestly can’t pinpoint it exactly, but Africa has a magnetizing attraction to us that makes us come back over and over again. I guess it a combination of the purity of nature, the people, the unique light, the smells and sounds of the bush, the sense of adventure when driving around and not knowing what you’ll see behind the next knob-thorn. It’s that feeling of not being pampered by modern technology, the feeling that you need to rely on your situational awareness again, the knowledge that a bankcard is just a piece of plastic with zero added value….The feeling of cooking a nice meal in the evening on an open fire, enjoying a glass of wine while hearing a lion roar in the distance is just pure magic. Just living by the rhythm of the bush…there is simply no activity that makes you feel more alive… You get that connection with true wilderness that is impossible to find in “our” daily life ...”

Our Mission
At Villa Ingwe, our mission is to provide an exceptional and immersive experience for guests seeking tranquility, adventure, and connection with the African bush. We are committed to offering a luxurious and comfortable retreat while focussing on ecology and conservation. We want to ensure that every guest leaves with cherished memories and a deep appreciation for the wonders of the African wilderness. Villa Ingwe is not a commercial property, the villa is only rented out on an ad-hoc basis to people sharing our passing for wildlife, responsible tourism, tranquility and refinement. Our target audience are couples, small families with children above 10 years or a small group of friends.
